Author Biography
Felix Mauch studied modern history and cultural geography at the University of Freiburg, Germany, and the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. He received his MA from the University of Freiburg in 2008. In his final thesis, he researched the relationship between cultural identity and urban space, deepening his interest in the interrelation of society and its environment. At the Rachel Carson Center, he will continue to develop his findings in the field of historical disaster research.
